Short-term Coverage: ExtraMD offers short-term coverage, usually when a physician is sick or on vacation
ExtraMD provides long-term coverage for when a physician is on military or maternity leave, or for a prolonged illness.
ExtraMD can fill in on an intermittent basis—say every Monday when you are busy, or every Wednesday on your day off.
ExtraMD covers family practices, internal medicine practices, urgent care and hospital medicine groups.
ExtraMD has an entire program geared toward group counseling for asthmatics and diabetics. This is a billable service and allows for education and counseling for these groups.
